Founded in 2014 by Sir Ben Ainslie, the British team GB1 aims to bring the America’s Cup back to the United Kingdom for the first time since 1851. After winning the Louis Vuitton Cup in 2024, the team will seek a historic overall victory in the 2027 edition in Napoli.
